Stolen Material

Imagine my surprise this morning when I am reading an on-line Appeal article about Silver Springs, Nevada. At the bottom of the article is an URL which says it has history about the area. Intrigued as you may have guessed, I click on the article and find myself reading a very familiar article about Williams Station.

Familiar? Yes! They stole it from my web site almost word for word, including the pictures!

This heinous copyright infringement shall not go unanswered. The guilty-- not alleged, not suspected, but guilty-- parties are

The Silver Springs Chamber of Commerce Silver Springs
K&J Computers - Silver Springs

I have contacted the Chamber and have asked that they delete the material or properly credit its creator, Forgotten Nevada.

This is pretty outrageous. I wrote about it on my website, Around Carson, to give it a little more publicity.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I will, of course, be moderating all comments to make sure (a) they conform to the standards of good taste set forth by Forgotten Nevada and (b) they don't make you come off as being funnier or more entertaining than myself.
